Greg O’Riordan is the Founder and Principal Physiotherapist of Action Home Rehab, bringing more than 30 years of clinical experience helping people regain their mobility, independence and quality of life. He is passionate about delivering expert home visit physiotherapy that combines advanced clinical assessment with personalised rehabilitation in the comfort of each client’s home.
Greg has extensive experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological conditions. He has a particular interest in helping older adults recover after surgery or hospitalisation, reduce their risk of falls, improve balance and strength, and remain living safely and independently at home. He also manages complex and persistent pain conditions, mobility problems and rehabilitation following joint replacement, fractures and sporting injuries.
Having established a successful private physiotherapy practice more than 25 years ago, Greg has built his career on evidence-based practice, clinical excellence and compassionate patient care. He recently completed the Australian Physiotherapy Association Level 3 Sports Physiotherapy Program, further enhancing his advanced clinical reasoning and rehabilitation expertise for complex injuries and movement disorders.
Greg leads his team to provide comprehensive mobile physiotherapy services across Sydney, including aged care physiotherapy, post-hospital rehabilitation, balance and falls prevention programs, mobility assessments, NDIS physiotherapy, and personalised home exercise programs. He works collaboratively with the healthcare team and family members to ensure every client receives coordinated, goal-focused care.
His philosophy is simple: every person deserves the opportunity to move confidently, remain independent and enjoy the highest possible quality of life. Greg believes rehabilitation is most successful when treatment is individualised, practical and delivered in the environment where people live and function every day.
In his psare time, Greg enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping active and continually expanding his knowledge through professional development to ensure his patients receive the latest evidence-based physiotherapy care.
